Palestinians living under occupation in East Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Governorate face a number of daily struggles. Movement restrictions are a particular problem for those seeking to exercise their right to access religious sites in Old City of Jerusalem, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Al Aqsa Mosque. The eviction of families and demolition of homes is also a particular problem, including for Bedouin communities living in the areas around East Jerusalem. EAs work alongside a number of Israeli and Palestinian peace groups to monitor and report on all of these issues.
EAs serving in East Jerusalem cover the whole of the Jerusalem Governorate in occupied Palestine.
